The minimum wage argument is where Republicans consistently show their ignorance on economics. Minimum wage workers put their earnings back into the local economy, creating profit for business and giving business a reason for creating new jobs. The real "job creators" in the United States economy are the wage earners who spend their hard earned money in the local economy.
The Republicans love that petty catch phrase, "Get a Job", but if they were serious about improving the economy, and creating more jobs to be gotten, they would be all for raising the minimum wage.
