Let's clarify this. It is a pledge to a specific group of extremely wealthy Americans who Norquist fronts for. A Elite group of Americans who are dutifully working to undermine American Democracy in order to aggregate more wealth and power to themselves. An Elite group of Americans who view the vast majority of Amercan citizens as useless eaters.
If you aren't an ultra rich American this Pledge has nothing to do with you.
