Jonathan Krohn, Ex-Conservative Boy Wonder, Jabs GOP 'Bullies,' Explains Shift To The Left

Krohn is brilliant person, and quite perceptive. In one interview where he discussed how he got swept up in the Conservative movement he noted the proliferation of right wing media in Georgia. Being exposed to the endless drone of right wing media made him conservative. The difference for him at thirteen, was that he still had years to be exposed to other information outside of the right wing radio bubble and that caused him to modify his world view. Most Americans are not exposed to other information outside of the Right Wing propaganda they ingest, and that poses a problem. We need to be honest here, propaganda via media works. The US has used Voice of America for that very reason. If media outlets are used as propaganda delivery mechanisms the information presented will frame the worldview of the consumer, and if propaganda is distributed on a 24/7 loop, falsehoods will become reality for millions of Americans.

Jonathan Krohn is experiencing the cycle described in Plato's Allegory of the Cave. An individual who is raised viewing shadows reflected on the cave wall ... in this case Right Wing media propaganda ... who then leaves the cave and experiences a world in the light of day, will be received with derision and hostility by the inhabitants of the cave when his explanation of the outside world clashes with the accepted shadows of the cave wall, which frames the cave dwellers understanding of the world they live in.
