Grover kind of, sort of put himself between elected Republicans and the Oath they swore to the Constitution. His cockamamie pledge was never valid. There was no footnote in the Constitution reading:
"Note: Please clear your expectations of elected service with Grover Norquist before beginning your term of office, Thomas Jefferson."
The pledge was never anything more than a nuisance created by a narcissist, who thinks the world actually cares what he wants.
