Sandra Day O'Connor Says Public Disapproval Of Roberts Court ‘A Great Disappointment'


-Yet O’Connor told Schieffer that she doesn’t regret the vote she cast in that case, one of the court's most controversial. “No. It was a tough deal in a closely watched election,” O’Connor said. “It’s no fun to be part of a group of decision makers who have to decide which side the ball is going to fall on.”-



It wasn't the court's place to step in and decide the election in 2000. It was an extra-Constitutional event. I really don't care how O'Conner, or anyone else, spins it. Five justices, who owed their appointments to the high court to George H. W. Bush, appointed his son, George W. Bush, President of the United States. It doesn't get any clearer than that. And when your High Court is unmasked as corrupt it will, indeed, undermine its credibility in the public's eye.
