Note the way the world now views the United States of America - We are no longer viewed as the "Shining City on the Hill." We are now seen as murderers and the torturers of freedom. What a cruel betrayal to those who sacrificed so much to build the United States into a nation worthy of admiration. The term "American Exceptionalism" has become a cynical punchline to a dark joke. Tragic.
