The Republican Party is the perpetual minority party. The only way the GOP can win elections is through voter suppression and appealing to the darker angels of our nature: Fear and Hate. Racism is the GOP's "secret sauce", and has been since the introduction of the Southern Strategy, and this election cycle is no different.
As a Presidential Candidate, Mitt Romney is unwilling to put flesh on the bones of any of the policies he would implement as President. In a sane America that would be a flashing warning light, but in the current America just add a little "Secret Sauce" and it's all forgotten.
