Tropical Storm Isaac Threatens Republican National Convention
It's perfectly safe. The Republicans are just looking for a way out of putting their woefully inadequate candidates on National Television that's all. If the Republicans could lock Romney and Ryan in a garage somewhere and keep them from looking like absolute dross to the American people they would. Conservative Republicans are asking:
"Why did the Republican Party abandoned Evangelicals with this ticket?"
They are asking:
"Is Mitt Romney hiding his taxes just because he didn't pay any, or because he contributed money to Liberal Causes and Abortion Clinics?"
Every time Romney goes out in public true Conservative Voters ask:
"Why Romney? Have the Democrats secretly taken over the Republican Party and inserted a Candidate who only pretends to be a Republican by trying to say the right things but will take his orders from Bill Clinton and Nancy Pelosi once elected?"
Republican voters are pretty sharp. They know when they are being taken for a ride. Now they must be suspicious why the Republicans want to use the excuse of this slight chance of a Hurricane hit on Tampa as a reason to cancel the GOP Convention and hide their candidate some more. Boy, are Republican voters being played.
