You see, the Dominionists of the United States Conservative Right believe that woman should care for the household, and be prepared to present the vagina for entertainment and procreative purposes to the male head of the household. It is a neolithic worldview that easily accommodates the rape of women as acceptable because women were created from the rib of Adam to serve the needs of man, so freedom of choice on the women's part for the accommodation of the Man's urges would be a blasphemy.
