Let's see, what's the Republican strategy behind this call? Hmm. Well, if Hillary were to want to run in 2016, having her running around the world doing real work as Secretary of State would give her far more high profile focus than holding President Obama's hat as VP for four years. Furthermore, should Hillary replace Biden now, and President Obama lose his re-election bid, being part of a losing ticket would allow for endless amounts of spin against her should she want to run in 2016.
I'd say the best choice for Hillary is to stay right where she is.
