Rush Limbaugh Apologizes To Sandra Fluke For Calling Her A 'Slut'

From Rush's "apology":

"For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke."

"Chose the wrong words"? Calling Ms Fluke a slut? A prostitute? Accusing women at Georgetown of rampant promiscuity, and further degrading them by regurgitating Foster Friess's lame aspirin line? Claiming that Fluke was "having so much sex" she couldn't afford the birth-control, when the issue Fluke was focused on was her friend who lost an ovary because she didn't have access to the birth control pills to keep the tumors under control?

"Chose the wrong words"?

No, this was a campaign, by Rush, to humiliate and defame Ms Fluke over a period of three days. The apology came because outraged people online have confronted Rush's advertisers with his offensive behavior and they are abandoning his show. That is why Rush issued this:

Which ISN'T an apology.
