The Texas Oil Cartel got its pipeline - the one the Taliban leadership denied them when George W Bush, as Governor, invited them to Texas and treated them like royals to get it - so now it is time to go. We were never even meant to "win" this war. Our troops, as occurred in Vietnam and Iraq, were sent over there for nothing and their lives were squandered.
If Americans cared at all about their troops, which, to be honest, they really don't, they would be demanding they come home right now, But the American people won't, because most Americans don't have anyone they care about in these wars, so how they are or what they do really means nothing to them. Let's be straight. For a change, let's be honest.
This war should end, then again, it should have never started to begin with.
