Martin Sheen Has Harsh Words For Progressives Critical Of Obama

I respect Mr Sheen, but everyone has their right to their opinion and everyone has a role to play in moving the interests of the People of the United States forward. I might add, that the Occupy Movement is not a pro-Democrat or pro-Obama movement, so it is kind of contradictory to be a odds with Progressives that are critical of Obama, and at the same time praise the Occupy Movement for its efforts. The Occupy Movement filled a void left by Vichy Dems whose personal ideologies render them impotent to address the problems of our country in a way that isn't Market Driven. The Occupy Movement was a direct confrontation with the aims and power structure of the Reactionary Corporate Right, but it was also a repudiation of an anemic and impotent Democratic Party that was more interested in not offending those in the nations political and economic hierarchy than aggressively addressing issues adversely affecting their constituents in a very real world way (Note to Democrats: When you are making excuses for why you can't get something done you are failing).

As I said, I respect Mr Sheen, but President Obama can only reach his full potential in office if we keeping testing him and challenging him to be his very best. That is the disgruntled Left's role.
