Boycott Won't Rush Him Out
I think if every advertiser of Limbaugh is under continued assault and they start seeing damage to their reputation and bottom line the only way Limbaugh stays on air is through the largess of some right wing billionaires who will make the radio stations whole on their ad losses to keep the king of Right Wing propaganda on the air. The goal for those supporting the boycott is to keep the heat on advertisers, long and hard, so staying with Rushbo is untenable. Limbaugh as an "entertainer" supported by advertisers can be destroyed, but Rush the Right Wing AM Radio Propagandist is too critical to the right wing movement to be lost to the airwaves. Without Advertisers, however, Rush becomes the Dr Gene Scott of Right Wing Punditry, on air, but clearly outside of the mainstream.
The value of advertisers to Rush is not in the money they bring in, but in the credibility that Rush's views gain by the blue chip advertisers association with him, but what advertiser wants this:
"Hate, misogyny and racism brought to you by ..."
