If ACA is struck down millions of Americans will be immediately impacted. Politics is Luxury; Health Care is Necessity. People will "Rah, Rah, Sis, Boom, Bah" for their political team, but a call from a 23 year-old daughter who is ill and finds she no longer has coverage on Mom and Dad's Insurance and can't get her own with a pre-existing condition will not inspire pom pom cartwheels.
Americans are selfish ... EXTREMELY SELFISH ... on all sides of the political spectrum. Selfishness, it can be argued, is the true foundation of the American Culture.
So, now ... tell me ... how do the Republicans not lose by depriving millions of Americans, including their own constituents of Health Care coverage? You think a petty political victory will offset real pain?
