Harry Reid Would Back Obama If He Bucks GOP On Debt Ceiling: Source

So, let me get this straight. An unbalanced individual with a gun massacres a classroom of six and seven year-olds, their teachers, and Principal and the President addresses the American people to say:

"In wake of this tragedy, the 2nd Amendment is off the table, and citizens are expected to turn over their guns to the United States Government for disposal starting midnight January 1st, 2013."

Wait.

The President didn't do that, right?

Why?

Because the President doesn't have the right to unilaterally override the US Constitution. So, what gives the President the authority to take the 14th Amendment Section 4 off the table? Answer, the President has no right to take the 14th Amendment Section 4 off the table.

The 2nd Amendment and the 14th Amendment have exactly the same weight and are to be treated exactly the same way.

The Congressional Debt Limit Gimmick is Unconstitutional in light of 14th Amendment Section 4 and should be ignored.
