Bill Maher nailed it. 100% true. Though I think he left out another important US backed dictator ... Batista. You see, Batista's excesses are what brought Fidel Castro to power. Turning over Cuba to the CIA and Mafia did nothing for the Cuban people, but make them miserable.
Oh, and the Cuban's of south Florida that hate Castro so much are descended from cronies of Batista that got kicked out when the revolution took place, so it really makes sense they hate Castro. I knew many Marcos cronies that fled the Philippines after People Power, and they weren't cheerleaders for Cory Aquino either.
