Jeb is in a pretty pickle. He's really the only chance the GOP has against Obama, unless the GOP is willing to lose this cycle and keep their fingers crossed that a couple of the conservative geezers on the Supreme Court don't keel over, allowing Obama to shape the high court for the next 30 years. (My guess is Obama will ultimately wind up on the Supreme Court as well) Of course, it is doubtful that Jeb would pull off a win in 2012 with the GOP off the rails the way it is today, so if he runs and loses then in 2016 he would be the candidate that lost to Obama. He's stuck.
I still think the GOP will roll out Jeb Bush-Condoleeza Rice ticket in Tampa, they are so against the wall they really don't have a choice.
