It was a hard loss for the 49er organization and I wonder how it will affect PSL sales in the new Santa Clara Stadium. I heard about a long term season ticket holder at Candlestick who wanted to acquire the same seats at the new Santa Clara stadium. When he inquired about making the buy he was told the price of the PSL was over $85,000 for two seats, not including the cost of the season tickets. He passed.
Maybe this loss will cause the PSL prices to drop, had the 49ers won their sixth Super Bowl, I'm sure bandwagon fans would have paid whatever price for the privilege to have a PSL.
