We have been in a Depression since 2008, but when the same wealthy individuals and corporations who would be personally harmed by the aggressive interventions required by the government to address the Depression also own the media outlets the message of the United States ... and the world ... being in a Depression is smothered in favor of a nonexistent, phantom recovery meme.
