Oh boy, here is where Paul Ryan blew it big time.
In the Right Wing worldview lies are perfectly acceptable as long as they support the belief system.
Retreating from lies? When lies form the walls, floor and roof of the Right Wing place you live in retreating from a lie ... as Ryan has done here ... is a sin.
