Folks, let's not beat around the bush ... the Republicans are behind this. This is a classic "ratf*cking" job straight out of the Nixon era.
Republican operatives had this film made, lied to the actors and crew about its purpose, dubbed the inflammatory language they knew would incite violence amongst radical elements of Islam around the world, and likely used a private intelligence firm based in the Middle East to insure the violence would occur on the anniversary of the 9/11. The only question in my mind is if Republican operatives also retained a private military firm to coordinate the attack on the Benghazi consulate.
I have no doubt on this, and the Justice Department, FBI, and CIA should be investigating this incident with Republican operative involvement in the back of their mind.
The Republicans have shown this level of moral bankruptcy and criminality before. Nixon operatives derailed the Vietnam Peace Talks in 1968 in order to get Nixon elected. Nixon operatives played the same game again in Watergate ... off book intelligence operatives engaged in the break ins. Reagan operatives derailed the release of the American hostages from the US Embassy in Tehran in order to defeat Jimmy Carter, Reagan operatives engaged in the Iran/Contra scandal in order to reward Iran for Reagan's win.
The Republicans are behind this violence that caused four Americans including a US Ambassador to be murdered. Time to shut the "Ratf*ckers" down.
