Nancy Pelosi, the last competent Speaker of the House the United States has had, is absolutely right about this. If Romney loses to Obama, and the current crop of Republicans retain their seats in Congress they will continue sabotaging the US Legislative system and the economy. What the American people need to understand is that the pain they are experiencing in their day-to-day lives is directly due to the Republican Party feeling the American people needed to be punished for the 2008 election outcome. The Republicans seem to believe that meeting the ideological needs of their party comes before meeting the needs of the constituents who hired them.
Let's be clear here, based on their performance over the last four years there is no Republican in the House or Senate that deserves to retain their seat. The people elected these Republicans to office to make things better and instead the Republicans went out of their way to make things worse. The Republicans have forgotten who they work for ... its not the Billionaires that use them as handmaidens, its the constituents that hired them.
The American people need to fire the Republicans in the House and Senate for malpractice of office. The Republicans do not deserve the honor of serving the American people.
