The Right beats up on folks like Vice President Biden, and Chris Matthews because their message is accurate and straight to the point. If someone speaks the truth in American politics they have to run the gauntlet of ad hominem attacks, for their opponents can't confront them directly on the issues. It's a tired strategy.
Biden is effective because in their hearts people recognize the truth he is stating.
