Right on, Norah. This whole dust up over defense cuts through sequestration, which the Republicans agreed to, is due to the impotent collapse of the vaunted "Super Committee" that had all the power to reconfigure the budget but became weak in the knees in the face of political heat.
The "Super Committee" was supposed to work, and when it didn't it left Paul Ryan, and other Republicans who agreed to the defense cuts through sequestration out on a limb.
Absolutely Paul Ryan voted for these defense cuts. Absolutely.
