What does Romney have to fight with? He is a weak, weak, weak candidate. A make-a-wish candidate. A candidate whose positions have been all over the board and recorded as such.
Romney can't release his taxes for the damage it would do to him. Romney has stated he can't be specific on policy because he wouldn't be elected. Romney created the framework for Obamacare when he was Governor of Massachusetts. Romney made his fortune destroying companies and sending American jobs overseas. Romney's religion is an anathema to Republicans vital Fundamentalist Christian base. Romney is held in low esteem by his peers in the Republican Party. Romney, as Governor of Massachusetts, was near the bottom in job creation in his state ... and .... worst of all ... Romney has the stench of privilege about him that only inspires contempt in average Americans.
It's not Obama's record, and persona that is the problem ... it is Romney's.
The Republicans pick the wrong guy to run and that is the long and the short of it.
