Rush Limbaugh Advertiser Sleep Train Pulls Commercials In Wake Of Sandra Fluke 'Slut' Firestorm
Any advertiser that expects women to be customers would be wise to bail out of Limbaugh's show. Limbaugh set himself up to be a corpulent casualty of the Sexual Revolution.
Additionally, since Limbaugh is more of a political asset than the "Entertainer" he claims to be, even if all of his advertisers walked, Clear Channel would keep him on air. For a company that had a censorship list of songs with left leaning subject matter all ready to be sent to its stations when the September 11th attacks occurred, it is obvious Rush's true value is in the area of ideological indoctrination of the listening audience, not ad revenue. Even if all of his advertisers evaporate, Rush will stay right where he is, for that is where the Right Wing needs him.
