Brad Dayspring, Eric Cantor's Top Aide, Resigns
I bet Dayspring is moving to the PAC side of things because the Republicans realize they have had control of the House for two years and have nothing to show for it but a bunch of insane libertarian rhetoric soundbites caught on tape, and a concerted effort to default on the United State's debt, resulting in a downgrade of the United States credit rating for the first time in its history. The Republican House has produced no legislation to improve the economy, improve the jobs situation, or address the mortgage crisis that millions upon millions of Americans are trapped in now.
The Republicans see a tsunami heading their way in November 2012 and they aren't going to be the beneficiaries of it this time. Frankly, until the Republican Party regains some semblance of sanity, it should be sidelined. It's not like the Republicans haven't had their chance over the last decade and a half to direct the course of the country, they have and it resulted in an Economic Crash, Depression and loss of prestige for the United States globally.
Dayspring has his work cut out for him defending the seats of Republicans that have nothing but catchy, red-meat sound bites to define their time in power. Incompetence isn't a virtue to the voting public and that is all the Republicans excel in, as their record shows.
