Egyptian Security Forces Clear Pro-Morsi Sit-Ins, Hundreds Reported Dead (UPDATED)


The People of Egypt toppled Mubarak, and the Muslim Brotherhood exploited the power vacuum to claim power and move the country towards theocracy. The People of Egypt rose once more to topple Morsi and the Muslim brotherhood, and now it seems the Egyptian Army has moved to claim power. The baseline problem is that the Egyptian People want control over the direction of their country, but before they can construct a government power is poached by an established interest group that has always been part of Egypt's underlying political problem.



I sincerely could care less about Mubarak, the Muslim Brotherhood, or the Egyptian Military, I just want to see the Egyptian People get a government that meets their needs and doesn't torment them. There should be space for Secular, Coptic, and Islamist Egyptians to interact and work together, domination by any one group will lead to further political upheaval, and hardship for all.
