Most nation's that claim to be Democracies aren't ... the label "Democracy" is a fig leaf deployed to cover all manner of societies that are actually Plutocracies or Corporate Oligarchies like the United States. So it's really not that Democracy is Broken, it's that Democracies truly aren't in place as advertised.
