Twitter's new headquarters was formerly the Merchandise Mart ... a place where manufacturers and importers would present their wares to buyers from Department Stores. My Nana, Dad, Aunt and Cousin all worked there at one time or another. When I was a kid the place was simply known as "The Mart." I still have curios and furniture pieces I inherited that my family members came across when they were working there. I actually recall having a nice hamburger and milkshake at the roof top restaurant that would have been where the Twitter folk were partying on the roof.
