The President has a Jobs Bill that the Republicans refused to consider that would have improved our current situation, replacing it with a "Jobs" bill that would cut regulations and taxes but create no real jobs. The Republicans have no interest in improving the economy or the job situation. They have been sabotaging the economy since President Obama was elected, and when Americans vote Republican they are rewarding the saboteurs who are undermining their way of life.
Republican Fiscal Policies crashed the economy in 2008, and put us in the Bush Depression we are in. Republican intransigence in the House and Senate has prolonged the economic misery and unemployment the American People are experiencing.
POTUS is of the Executive Branch, a co-equal branch of Government that is not a dictator (Despite the misinformed histrionics of Right Wing Propagandists) , and can only implement improvements in conjunction with cooperation from the House and Senate. The Congress has been AWOL since January 2011. The dishonest can blame Obama for the situation, and will, but those who took a basic CIVICS class in school and understand how the United States Government actually works, will recognize that the President of the United States is unable to do anything in terms of the economy if the Congress refuses to do its job.
