Single Payer would be a stabilizing force in American society. Health issues can be promptly addressed before they become more serious concerns. Business will see relief from its current amount of buy in for employee health care. Citizens will no longer have the spectre of bankruptcy hanging over their head when confronted with a catastrophic health occurrence.
The only downside is to investors in the Private Health Insurance Industry, but then their greed based concerns are immoral anyway.
