Medicare-For-All should have been the goal all along. The President tried to get Pharma and AHIP on board by compromising the Affordable Care Act with the Heritage Foundation's Individual Mandate. The President's reward for accommodating AHIP and Pharma was the wrath of the Tea Party that these two groups built and supported to undermine Health Reform.
If ACA goes down there is no reason not to aggressively pursue a Comprehensive Universal Single Payer Plan like Medicare-For-All.
Americans want quality, affordable, accessible Health Care, and, contrary to the Health Care Industry spin, won't care if it is delivered by the Government or Private Sector.
