I wouldn't be surprised if Reinhart-Rogoff are complete cranks, if you understand their work's usage it makes perfect sense. Like Ayn Rand, Reinhart-Rogoff's product provided the World's Elite with a further excuse to pillage humanity in order to further enrich and empower themselves. All Reinhart-Rogoff did was provide wealthy sociopaths with a convenient cudgel to beat the "useless eaters" with. It's the same old song.
