Times Square Targeted By Boston Marathon Bombing Suspects, FBI Says

All in all, with our borders porous, eleven million undocumented individuals living here, free and easy access to weapons and explosives, terrorist learning materials available on the internet, vast amounts of ammonium nitrate stored outside of DHS oversight, and even having FBI interviews with terrorists not sidelining them from committing heinous acts ... Americans should be breathing a sigh of relief that the Boston bombing was the first successful high profile attack since 09.11.2001. Considering there isn't anything really in place to prevent terrorist attacks from taking place, it is nice to know that our enemies are obviously not trying too hard to get us.

Lawmaker Unemployment Hearing Attended By Single Member of Congress At Opening

You see, unemployment, from the perspective of the special interests that own Congress, is actually a good thing. It causes fear in the population to see so many relatives, friends and neighbors out work, and fear breeds obedience in those still employed who don't want to see their lives fall apart as others who are unemployed have. Good obedient workers who don't complain, don't ask for raises, are willing to give up benefits, are willing to work extra time off the clock, are willing to forgo vacations, are willing to work from home, where possible, when sick ... is exactly what the Corporations, who front for the nation's elite, want. Americans in debt, and terrified of losing everything if they step out of line are better than slaves.

So why would congressmen want to attend this frivolous hearing, when the downside of high unemployment is exactly their goal. Every unemployed American is a reminder to those still employed that they better keep their nose to the grindstone and their mouths shut.

Steve Kush, New Mexico GOP Official, Calls 19-Year-Old Labor Advocate 'A Radical B*tch'

Advocating for a minimum wage ... not a fair wage, or a living wage, mind you, but just a minimum wage ... is considered Radical? That's patently absurd.

The Xenophobe Party

The vast majority of individuals incarcerated in US Prisons are Christians ... I hope the Republicans are willing to start a dialogue on how Christianity creates Criminals, after they are finished exploring how Islam begets Terrorists.

FAA Flight Delays Become Fodder For Sequester Politics

The Republicans forced the sequester to be enacted, they voted overwhelmingly for its implementation, and they are responsible for the inconvenience the sequester is causing the American people. The Republicans have no cover on this ... the record is clear.

Keith Ellison On Boston Bombing: Someone's Religion Should Not Be 'Cause For Alarm'

The vast majority of individuals in the US Prison system are self-identified Christians ... does that mean that Christians are more likely to be criminals than other Americans? If you start generalizing about groups things get really sticky fast.

Reinhart And Rogoff Make More Mistakes While Admitting To Research Flaws

I think the people who have benefited financially from the imposition of austerity around the world ... the Elite ... knew all along the research was garbage, but they likely recognize that the philosophy of Ayn Rand is garbage too, for the Elite know what they want to do is aggregate more wealth and power in human society to themselves, and whatever prop they find to aid them in attaining that end they will throw their support behind, and push the legitimacy of, whether it has any intrinsic value or not.

Republicans Urge Obama To Treat Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, Boston Suspect, As 'Enemy Combatant'

I have questions for the GOP Senators ... why didn't the suspension of Civil Rights in the Patriot Act, and the costly expansion of the US Security State through the creation of the Department of Homeland Security prevent this terrorist attack in Boston from happening? Why did it not foresee the mayhem at Aurora, or Newtown, or the assassination of Dr Tiller ... all terrorist acts as well? Why did the Republicans in the Senate just vote to kill background checks on guns ... inviting any criminal or terrorist to access to all the weaponry they need to engage is mass murder of Americans? Why do Republican Senators scream for border control, and the same time they keep the borders wide open so the US Business constituents have uninterrupted access to low wage, undocumented workers? Why are Fertilizer Plants, like the one that just blew up the town of West, Texas, allowed to store insane amounts of ammonium nitrate under the radar of the DHS? Ammonium nitrate having been the key component in the destruction of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. It seems to me, Republican Senators, if DHS has no idea how much ammonium nitrate is being stored at Fertilizer Plants, they also have no idea who has access to it. That doesn't strike me as a definition of "Homeland Security".

Labeling the bomber an "Enemy Combatant" is just cosmetic at this point. There is no Homeland Security.

Nate Bell, Arkansas State Lawmaker, Sends Insensitive Tweet About 'Boston Liberals'

Let's see ... if some "brave" 2nd amendment conservative took to the streets of Boston with his AR-15 in the last day and a half to deliver "lead justice" to the bomber ... with practically the landing force of D-Day on the streets of the city ... Tamerlan Tsarnaev Dead: Boston Marathon Bombing Suspect One Dies In Shootout (LIVE UPDATES)

Maybe we will find these brothers are part of some larger movement, but, on the face of it, it is pretty insane how two individuals with intent to commit mayhem can turn a nation of 310 million people upside down. I'm not sure what meaning we can derive from that.

Excellent, and straight and to the point, Mr Moore. Paul Krugman: 'So Much At Stake' In Reinhart-Rogoff Research Controversy

I wouldn't be surprised if Reinhart-Rogoff are complete cranks, if you understand their work's usage it makes perfect sense. Like Ayn Rand, Reinhart-Rogoff's product provided the World's Elite with a further excuse to pillage humanity in order to further enrich and empower themselves. All Reinhart-Rogoff did was provide wealthy sociopaths with a convenient cudgel to beat the "useless eaters" with. It's the same old song.
