Again, when do the owners and managers of the clubs come under scrutiny for this? I would argue that MLB NEEDED the PED era after alienating fans with labor strife. It is impossible for me to believe the use of PEDs on teams wasn't widely known to team management ... maybe not encouraged ... but known and left alone because of the entertaining results they produced on the diamond. So, at some point, the Commissioner should investigate the owners, which might be tricky since he is one through his daughter..
