Ann Coulter Says GOP Should Give In To Obama On Taxes: 'We Lost The Election' (VIDEO)


If you enjoy political sadism, there is something about this "Fiscal Cliff" drama that is quite delicious from the Progressive standpoint. The "Fiscal Cliff" is a cacophony of tax hikes and benefit cuts. There is the Bush Tax Cut expiration, the AMT reset, the draconian Sequester Implementation ... among other painful pokes and jabs to the economic well being of beleaguered Americans. Ugly stuff overall, and the Republicans will own all of it if they don't cave to the President and follow his lead.



Why?



Because most Americans are paying only superficial attention to the "Fiscal Cliff" and the ramifications, and will remain in that state until they actually feel the economic unraveling. Now, the one thing the American people are hearing in passing is that President Obama wants to extend Middle Class Tax Cuts, while the Republicans are refusing to oblige him unless the Tax Cuts for the Rich is protected. For the majority of Americans, across the political spectrum, this is the argument ...



If we go over the "Fiscal Cliff" the Republicans will wind up the sin-eater for the entire miserable package, not just the Middle Class Tax Cuts ... the Republicans are fighting a fire in a waste basket, while the wall around them are fully engulfed and they don't see it.
