The United States needs a mandatory living wage ... not a minimum wage ... a living wage. You get there by instituting a wealth cap as Huey Long proposed, and taxing all income over a certain amount (say ten or twenty million annually) from all sources, at 100%, and put a cap on family fortunes at 100 or 200 million. The pie is only so big, and the myth is it is growing in a way that benefits all 310 million Americans.
