States Deny Millions Of Ex-Felons Voting Rights


What's an easier way to permanently take voting rights away from minorities and the poor? Tie voting rights to felony convictions. It is far easier to be convicted of a felony if you are poor or a minority than anyone else in society, So, yes, this construct has definitely been a premeditated effort to divest those who the elite view as "undesirables" of their voting rights, No doubt about it.



If you lose your voting rights while incarcerated, that's one thing, but to rescind voting rights permanently once the debt to society has been paid is a craven political act directed at disenfranchising particular demographic groups, and is an anti-democratic, unAmerican Act.
