ReThink Review: Zero Dark Thirty - Yes, It Endorses Torture
The CIA needs Americans to believe that "the ends justifies the means" because currently, in terms of torture, they are war criminals and they know it. Furthermore, the craven nature of the CIA was on full display when they chose the USS Bataan as a cite to torture some of their victims ... certainly an inside joke at the Agency, if you understand their general psychology.
I have no doubt that "Zero Dark Thirty" is the CIA's film, much in the same way "Top Gun" and "The Green Berets" were Pentagon films. I won't see the film, for I am contemptuous of propaganda produced for the benefit of state agencies ... and certainly not when the goal of that propaganda is to justify war crimes.
