If the Founding Fathers, who only allowed white men with land to vote in our "democracy" in their day knew the kind of weaponry that would be available to the rabble ... no way there would have ever been a 2nd Amendment like we have today. Absolutely no way. The 2nd Amendment would have been far more explicitly designed to control who had access to firearms, or remand them to regulated militias solely.
The Founder Fathers never foresaw the mayhem our society is experiencing today, and would be horrified at what their 2nd Amendment wrought.
