Truly an absurd move on Newt's part dropping out like this. The Republican Base can't stand Romney, no matter how many fake polls are commissioned to say otherwise. Newt should have stuck it out, the Convention in Tampa is going to be very dicey for Romney, and he may very well leave the convention wounded by his own party, regardless of who he picks for VP.
Newt should have stuck it out, Ron Paul has the right idea here.
