Karl Rove Is Done

I think we need to be careful about how we classify political factions now. Rove and "deep-dyed conservatives" aren't "Conservatives." John Birchers have never been Conservatives, though they play the Orwell card by applying that term to themselves. What these individuals are are Reactionaries. Despite the Progressive and Liberal Trappings the controlling DLC/New Democrat faction of Democrats, in practice, are the Conservative Party. There is no way to look back over the policies of the last thirty years and honestly say anything else.



The Reactionaries of the Far Right are now control the Republican Party, and with the right wing billionaires behind them, we are going to have to wait until they do their damage to the US before the political dynamics of the US recalibrate to a more rational point.
