John Cornyn: 'There Is No Incentive At All' For GOP To Increase Debt Limit

I say, the Democrats should make the Republican­s pass the debt ceiling increase. The Democrats should sit on their hands in the House and let Boehner rally his troops there to raise the debt ceiling with no concession­s, and in the Senate, Jim DeMint or Rand Paul have to filibuster the debt ceiling raise or they are turncoats to their cause. Harry Reid will need sixty one votes to pass the debt ceiling raise or it won't happen, meaning some Republican­s will have to defect to pass the increase. Which Republican­s will throw themselves into the volcano for their wealthy patrons who are facing wipe out if the debt ceiling isn't raised? Who will get the short straws?



The Democrats should be ruthless with the Republican­s over this. They have them checkmated­. No concession­s! And tell the Republican­s to pass the debt ceiling increase themselves­. The Republican­s will ... they have no choice.
